The Two-Hour Product Launch

What if you could go from a blank sheet of paper to a launched product in less than two hours?

That’s the challenge I gave myself this past week—and the result surprised even me.

The Spark

On Saturday, I tuned into Alex Hormozi’s $100M Money Models livestream. It was filled with insights that challenged the way I think about business models. By Sunday, I was listening to the audiobook version. Hearing the material a second time, in a different format, helped me process it differently. I began sketching out ideas, asking myself: If I were to rethink my business model from the ground up, what would it look like?

By Monday, I was ready to put this into practice.

The AI Board of Directors

I decided to try something new: I built an AI Board of Directors. On my board I placed Hormozi, of course, but also five other brilliant thinkers with different perspectives. The goal wasn’t to have AI “tell me what to do,” but to create a sounding board that would challenge my assumptions, offer competing viewpoints, and help me stress-test ideas faster.

Instead of spending weeks thinking through scenarios on my own, I could simulate the push and pull of a real advisory team in minutes.

The Key Decisions

Before I even consulted the board, I had made some critical choices:

  1. Bring back the $195 Personality Poker Starter Kit—but limit the number of decks people can purchase.
  2. Eliminate certification for individual trainers and coaches—and focus only on organizations that want to transform their culture.

Why? Because my favorite business activity is actually playing Personality Poker with clients. It’s engaging, fun, and by far my best lead generation tool. Certification and unlimited deck sales, on the other hand, only created competitors who took those opportunities away from me.

This clarified the shape of my funnel:

  • A free online video game assessment
  • A $20 book
  • A $200 starter kit
  • …then a giant leap to a $20K keynote or the Personality Poker Mastery Program

And there was the problem: that leap from $200 to $20,000 was too big.

The Missing Middle

So I went to my AI board with a challenge: What belongs in the $2K–$5K range?

We debated. We explored different formats. Eventually, we landed on the Personality Poker Accelerator—a mid-tier offering designed to bridge the gap. It would give organizations a way to dive deeper than the starter kit, without the commitment of a full-scale keynote or mastery program.

The framework wasn’t perfect, but it was enough to start.

From Idea to Launch

Once I had the concept, I asked ChatGPT to generate HTML code for a landing page. I copied the code, pasted it into WordPress, and within minutes had a page live.

Was it polished? No.
Were the program details finalized? Not yet.
Did the buttons even work? Not yet, but it’s an easy fix.

But that wasn’t the point.

The point was speed. In under two hours, I was able to:

  1. Identify a gap in my business model
  2. Define a new product to fill it
  3. Develop a sales strategy
  4. Launch a landing page

Lessons Learned

Here’s what I took away from the experience:

  • AI is an accelerator, not an answer. I never take the output as “done.” I poke, prod, and layer in my preferences until it resembles something useful. Then I treat it as a straw model to hand off to a professional designer, marketer, or advisor.
  • Momentum matters more than perfection. The faster you can get something into the world, the faster you can learn from it. Waiting for perfection only delays progress.
  • Frameworks beat ideas. The funnel framework helped me see immediately where the gap was. Without it, I might still be wondering why my offerings didn’t feel cohesive.
  • Time is no longer a barrier. The old model of spending months or even years developing something behind closed doors is obsolete. With the right tools, you can launch in hours, then refine in real time.

The Bigger Picture

This experience wasn’t really about building one new product. It was about testing a new way of working. The combination of human creativity, structured thinking, and AI support can compress timelines that used to feel impossible.

The Personality Poker Accelerator will continue to evolve. The landing page will be redesigned. The copy will be sharpened. But the fact remains: what once might have taken months was done in less than two hours.

That’s the power of blending human insight with AI acceleration. And it’s a model I’ll keep using.
