Sometimes the best ideas come from mistakes.
Case in point: I asked an AI tool to redesign the cover of my Personality Poker book.
It got most of it right… except for one curious detail. Instead of “Personality Poker,” it said “Personality Joker.”
I laughed, then froze. This “error” had just solved a problem I’d been stuck on for years.
I’ve always wanted to create an expansion pack for Personality Poker with funny, slightly cheeky cards. Think of ones you might “gift” to a coworker labeled “Overpaid,” “Arrogant,” or “Unoriginal.”
But it never fit the tone of the original game, which is about insight, collaboration, and understanding each other’s strengths. Mixing in snarky cards would dilute the brand.
The AI’s “Joker” slip gave me the answer. Personality Joker could be the playful, mischievous sibling to Personality Poker. It would have its own brand and complete freedom to be as tongue-in-cheek as I want.
Within minutes, it had a name, a concept, and even a card back design with a Joker’s hat. I bought the URL, and the next fun extension of Personality Poker was born.
Now I need your help.
What words would you add to the Personality Joker deck? These should be labels you would secretly love to gift to someone in the workplace (or your personal life) but might never say to their face.
A**hole? Egomaniac? Pain in the butt?
Drop your ideas in the comments. I’m all ears!
