Call me crazy…
I just re-released the Personality Poker book last week. And yesterday? I started working on my next book, planning to publish it this year.
Have I lost my marbles? Maybe.
The current book is 45,000 words of rich, deep content. But let’s be honest: Personality Poker is meant to be fun, playful, and easy. A 265-page book doesn’t exactly scream “light and breezy.”
So here’s my new idea: repackage the content into something short, sharp, and snackable.
- Each chapter: just 400 to 500 words (shorter than a blog post).
- Each with a playful title like “The Person You Like the Least Is the Person You Need the Most,” “Culture Starts with Cult,” or “Opposites Don’t Attract, They Detract.”
- 26 chapters (a half a deck)
Something you could read on a short flight or listen to in under 90 minutes on audio.
The good news? I already have all the content. The challenge is figuring out what to strip away.
So what do you think?
Am I onto something, or am I really not playing with a full deck?
P.S. The book image associated with this blog is much thicker than the actual book will be. It will be between 100 and 150 pages with larger fonts, graphics, and plenty of white space.
