As readers of this blog know, on July 21, 2015, I was inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame.
That evening, I received the National Speakers Association’s Council of Peers Award of Excellence (CPAE) award in front of 1,500 people at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC.
You can learn more about it on my earlier blog entry.
Today I am happy to post the video of my acceptant speech. One thing I learned from this experience: acceptance speeches are VERY different than innovation speeches! It took all of my energy to “keep it together” and not get too emotional.
I was introduced by my good friend and fellow Hall of Famer, Terry Brock.
It was a great night. Enjoy!
